When using MQ client mode, we set MQSERVER/MQCCSID in the field “Parameters for Test Connection” on the Run-time Configuration tab in Designer. We then click the “Test Connection” button but the adapter fails to be started with Adapter Tester.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for WebSphere MQ 5.x, 6.x
Windows platform

Symptoms:
===========
The adapter failed to start with error code 2058.

Cause:
===========
At runtime, even though the parameters MQSERVER/MQCCSID are set in the field “Parameters for Test Connection” but only MQSERVER is read, MQCCSID is not read.

Resolution:
==========
Set the MQCCSID of MQ server in admqs.tra file.
