Resolution: Description: ============ Customers are unable to resend transactions in BusinessConnect (BC) 5.3.x when the " Include Messages in Log Entries" under Administrator->BusinessConnect->System settings->JDBC Configuration is unchecked. Resending transactions was possible even when the above property remained unchecked in BC 5.2.x .
Environment: ========== All Environments
Symptoms: ========= When we have the "Include Messages in Log Entries" unchecked in the bc 5.3.x , we can not see transactions under the Log viewer -> Resend Logs tab nor can we find the "Resend" button at the transaction level in the audit log.
Cause: ===== Functionality has been modified from BC 5.3.x onwards.
Resolution: ========= To maintain BC 5.2 functionality (i.e., to be able to resend the transaction even when the "Include Messages in Log Entries" is unchecked), the following property needs to be added to the bcengine.tra and adminstrator.tra files.
"java.property. bc.resend.log.Message=true"
