Description
===========

This LBN highlights TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Service Performance Manager specific information relative to the expiry of embedded certificates as described in LBN1-BX7I3B. Customers may also upgrade embedded certificates by upgrading to the SPM 1.3.3 release released in June 2011.


Environment:
===========

-    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Performance Manager 1.0.0, 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.2.0, 1.3.0, 1.3.1 and 1.3.2


Symptoms:
========

Please refer to the attached Release Notes file for TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Management Daemon Keystore Update Utility 1.0.0.


Cause:
=====

The product releases listed above in the "Environment" section of this LBN, contain embedded security certificates that expire August 17, 2011. These certificates must be replaced by August 17, 2011 in order for Service Performance Manager to continue to function correctly.


Resolution:
==========

Updated certificates are available with the service pack release Service Performance Manager 1.3.3. If possible we recommend customers upgrade to this version to address certificate expiration as well as other critical fixes.

Alternatively customers can use the command line utility, TIBCO ActiveMatrix Management Daemon Keystore Update Utility 1.0.0. The utility can install new certificates in existing or new deployments, setting the certificate expiration to May 11, 2110. This utility is available for download via the releases listed above in the "Environment" section of this LBN.
