Description:
The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO Adapter(TM) for Oracle Applications 5.4.1 since its general availability.  Please read the attached amended readme details regarding these additions for your reference.

TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM) 5.10.x

Any limitations and restrictions and known issues are detailed below:

Please note that any new features or functionality available with these additional environments are not necessarily supported by TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.1.  Please contact Support if there are any questions regarding whether a certain feature is supported by TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.1.

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TRA) 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x

Limitations and Restrictions:
Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.1. For further inquiries about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

For HP-UX Itanium platform, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.
For the remaining Unix platforms and all Windows platforms, TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.1 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 64-bit Platforms. On 64-bit Unix Platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used. On Windows platforms, it is recommended that the 32-bit TRA executable be used unless the 32-bit adapter needs to run on the same Windows machine with the 64-bit TRA executable and other 64-bit TIBCO applications. In order to use TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications 5.4.1 with the 64-bit TRA executable, please follow the configuration steps below:

    SOL1-BT3Y0H - Configuring C++ TIBCO (R) Adapters to work with TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.7.1 and 5.7.2 (64-bit) for Windows.
    SOL1-DBPHEK - Configuring C++ TIBCO (R) Adapters (32-bit) to work with TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.7.3 and TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.7.4 (64-bit) for Windows.

Configuration Changes:
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1, 5.7.2, 5.7.3, and 5.7.4, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to  SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM) 5.10.x

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks includes the following:
  * TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM) - Business Works engine that does not run as a Service Engine; for use by customers that are not using Active Matrix
  * TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM) Service Engine (BWSE) - Business Works Engine running as a Service Engine for use within Active Matrix

No adapter configuration changes are required to use TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks(TM).

Limitations and Restrictions:
Both 32-bit and 64-bit BusinessWorks executables are supported. If BusinessWorks and TIBCO Adapters will be installed on the same machine, the bitness of both products may need to be the same.  Please check the adapter's product documentation and LBNs for any limitations regarding bitness Support.
