Description:
Customers applying hotfix maintenance may miss applying a critical fix delivered in Hotfix 04. AP13556 was not included in Hotfix packages 06 through 09. AP13556 should have been included in members $HFX04 and HFX04 for each hotfix package.

Symptoms
SMP/E will not provide any indication of the missing fix AP13556 if you are applying Hotfix package 06, 07, 08 or 09 and have not applied the fix AP13556 previously through Hotfix package 04 or 05.

When the new maintenance is applied, tables such as @SESSION may exhibit trailing blanks for string fields when non-blank characters were included in the value.

A rule failure might also occur if you are missing AP13556:
  Variable {table.fieldname} too small to hold expression value

Resolution
Customers who are applying TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS 5.2.0 Hotfixes 06 to 09 and who have not previously applied PTF AP13556 through Hotfix 04 or 05 should download:
   TIB_osb_5.2.0_zos_hotfix04.zip
and extract the missing PTF AP13556 from that package. This packaging issue will be corrected in the next cumulative hotfix package when released.
