In a basic FT setup, one EMS server instance runs as active and another EMS server instance runs as backup. This Solution sheds lights on the possibility of having more than one backup EMS servers in a FT environment.

EMS server fault tolerance works with only two servers, one will be acting as an active server and the other one will act as a standby server. There is no way to configure more than two EMS servers in FT mode.
