Description:

Enable LDAP in an existing TIBCO Administrator 5.4.0 Domain which is not already integrated with LDAP at creation time.

Environment:

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TRA) 5.4.x ,
TIBCO Administrator 5.5.x .


Cause:
======
This feature was not provided in TIBCO Administrator 5.4.0 but is available in TIBCO Administrator 5.6.0.

TRA-65  :    There should be a way to add LDAP credentials to an existing domain through Domain Utility.

TRA-163  :  Customer want a non-LDAP domain can be converted to a LDAP domain, or the reverse, without changing the domain name and other domain configuration/content.

Resolution:

Customer has 2 options:

1). You will have to create a new domain.

Or

2). Upgrade to TIBCO Runtime Agent to 5.6.x and TIBCO Administrator to 5.6.x .
