Resolution:
Ther warning log message below appears in the Director logs when the Engine Daemon is running a different version from the Director.
"WARNING: [EngineDaemonSessionId] Engine testEngine does not report CPU details; needs to upgrade"
This warning message means that the Engine Deamon is not able to obtain certain CPU related statistics. When this situation occurs, you will not be able to discriminate Services based on a few of the CPU related Engine properties (cpuCoreCount, cpuSocketCount and cpuThreadCount).
This situation typically occurs when you are performing a staged upgrade of your grid to a newer version and you have the following settings:
'Engine Daemon Upgrade from Director=false'
'Engine Deamon Upgrade From Broker=false'
The log level of this message was changed from 'WARNING' to 'CONFIG' since GS 6.0.
