SOL1-85L7HR has introduced some scenarios which could lead to the bad magic number error. As a complement, there is another source which can result in this error.
The RV message size limit is 64MB. We have found that when trying to send out a message for which the message size exceeds this limit, on the RV receiving side, the "incoming RV message with bad magic" error will be seen. This can be reproduced by using rvperfm command to send message and tibrvlisten for receiving.
