This is the exact error "./studio-tools -clean -initialize
[Fatal Error] :34920:20: XML document structures must start and end within the same entity."

Symptoms:
=========
studio_tools fails with the same symptom.  There may be other symptoms as the environment was incorrect.

Cause:
======
TIBCO BusinessEvents (BE) 4.0.0 components were installed with NO BE 4.0.1 service pack components installed yet BE 4.0.1 hotfix 06 was installed over BE 4.0.0.  This can be verified by looking at the TIBCO_HOME/_installInfo directory.  If done properly you will find in the directory files in match pairs like:

businessevents-standard_4.0_prodInfo.xml
businessevents-standard_sp1_4.0_prodInfo.xml.

See attached zip file of all BE 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 components.  If you have not installed BE Views then neither of the views prodInfo files will be present.

Resolution:
=========
Uninstall BE 4.0.0 and remove the directory before reinstalling BE 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 and then applying the proper hotfix.
