I can log into TIBCO Administrator GUI as a LDAP user, but I cannot log into the EMS Admin Tool as the same user.

When you configure Tibco Administrator domain to authenticate user from LDAP server, you configure the following in the domain utility:

User Name Attribute

This attribute needs to match the parameter "ldap_user_attribute" in tibemsd.conf.

Example, if User Name Attribute is "sAMAccountName" in Microsoft Activer Directory Server, then you need to configure the following in tibemsd.conf.

ldap_user_attribute = sAMAccountName

To find out the LDAP configuration for the domain, start the domain utility to connect to the domain, then choose Server Setting and LDAP configuration. You don't need to make any change to the current configuration, but just check the configuration.

You can also compare other LDAP parameters in the domain utility with those in tibemsd.conf and see if there is any discrepancy. If you need further help, contact TIBCO Support.
