GatewayServer failed to ACK idle bootstrap : RV timeout

Symptoms:
=========
GS (Gateway server) fails to throw the "GatewayServer failed to ack idle bootstrap : RV timeout " exception.


Cause:
=====
The RV deamon and service values under Business Connect -> configuration ->Component Settings -> Intercomponent Communication  may be configured incorrectly or there may be a problem with RV communication itself.

Resolution:
=========
Check the following:

  • The RV deamon and service values should be of the same values unless they are on a different network.  In this case, the RVRD should be configured to route the messages between the Interior Server (IS) and  the Gateway Server (GS).
  • Check that the values of the Gateway Server are reflected properly in the token which is used to start the GS . These parameters are set under Business Connect -> Gateway -> Gateway token. The RV parameters should be same as the parameters configured under Business Connect -> Configuration ->Component Settings -> Intercomponent Communication -> GS settings.
  • Check if there is a problem with RV communication itself between GS and IS by executing Tibrvlisten and Tibrvsend commands between GS and IS machines and vice versa.
