TIBINS406204 Internal Error while trying to install TIBCO Business Events 3.0.0.

Symptoms:
============
The following error is thrown when trying to install the base version Business Events 3.0.0.

TIBINS406204: Error: INTERNAL ERROR: Failed to install TIBCO BusinessEvents Enterprise Suite 3.0.0 at /opt/svceais/be/3.0.


Cause:
============
The installation was removed and another attempt was made to reinstall Business Events 3.0.0. This caused the original installation to become corrupt. When an attempt was made to reinstall the product, the error above was thrown which prevented the installation of the base product from proceeding.

Resolution:
============
Installing in a new TIBCO HOME instance is not possible. Installation will need to be done in the same current TIBCO HOME. To resolve this, references to BE3.0 will need to be removed from the vpd.properties file (try searching for be|3|0). The references are possibly still present due to an earlier install. In Linux this file will be located in the userhome directory. Under Windows the file will be located in C:\Windows\vpd.properties.

Removal of the references will allow the installation of base product BusinessEvents 3.0.0 to proceed cleanly without the reference to a previous corrupt installation.
