When installing TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.0.0, it’s failed with the error “Failed to initialize TIBCO Rendevous check”.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.0.0

Symptoms:
=========
vpd.properties.tibco.&ltservername> file contains a blank version such as “tibrv| | | | | |”.
Then, the following will be thrown when trying to install TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.0.0:

INTERNAL ERROR: Failed to initialize TIBCO Rendevous check

Cause:
======
This issue can be caused by an incorrect installation, which leads to entering blank entries (e.g., tibrv| | | | | |...) in vpd file. Installation of TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.0.0 fails due to the corrupt vpd file.

Resolution:

The following entries should be removed from the vpd.properties.tibco.&ltservername> file:
