Description
The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.8.0 since its general availability. Refer to the attached (Filenbame: SDK5.8.0_amended_readme_20160122.txt) for details regarding these additions.

Note that any new features or functionality available with these additional environments are not necessarily supported by TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.8.0. TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.7.1 and higher 5.7.x

Limitations and Restrictions:
A Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.7.0. For further inquiries about Support for TRA 5.7.0, contact TIBCO Support.
SDK contains a Java part and a C++ part, so we list them in two parts as follows:
SDK [Java]:
For all the platforms, TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.7.0 supports 32-bit and 64-bit TRA executables.
SDK [C++]:
For HP-UX Itanium, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.
For the remaining Unix and Windows platforms, TIBCO Adapter SDK 5.7.0 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 64-bit platforms. On 64-bit Unix platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used. On 64-bit Windows platforms, it is recommended that the 32-bit TRA executable be used unless the 32-bit adapter needs to run on the same Windows machine with the 64-bit TRA executable and other 64-bit TIBCO applications. In order to use SDK 5.8.0 with the 64-bit TRA executable, follow the configuration steps below:
* KB#34052 - Configuring C++ TIBCO Adapters to work with TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1, 5.7.2, and 5.8.0 (64-bit) for Windows.
* KB#36305 - Configuring C++ TIBCO Adapters (32-bit) to work with TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.3 and TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.4 (64-bit) for Windows.
Configuration Changes:
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1, 5.7.2, 5.7.3, and 5.7.4, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Refer to KB#33407 for detailed configuration steps.

TIBCO Adapter for SDK 5.8.0 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for SDK. Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO Adapter for SDK 5.8.0 now supports JRE 1.7.
