EMS Central administration UI shows ‘EMSCA Deployment’ validation error.

While converting ‘tibemsd.conf’ file to a ‘*.JSON’ file, you may see the validation error  ‘EMSCA Deployment Listens URL’ under ‘validation result’ list in the Central administration UI.  ‘Deployment Listens URL’ entered are used by the Central Administration server to communicate with the EMS server. Therefore, if this URL is not specified, central administration server will not be able to deploy the changes made to the respective EMS server.

Solution:

To correct this error,

1). Click on EMS server link in the EMSCA homepage - Click on ‘Properties’ button under ‘Server’.

2). Set ‘EMSCA Deployment Listens’ parameter to EMS Server URL. For example if EMS server is configured to listen to tcp://localhost:7222 then provide same URL under ‘Deployment Listens URL’.

3). Save the configuration and deploy the changes to the server.

The changes will be saved to the main configuration file with the .JSON extension and the validation error will be corrected.
