Dependency check errors can occur during a custom uninstall when the following conditions are true:
  1. TIBCO BusinessEvents Decision Manager is installed
  2. One or more TIBCO BusinessEvents Add-on products other than TIBCO BusinessEvents Decision Manager and TIBCO   BusinessEvents Standard are selected for custom uninstall.
In such a case, move the file {TIBCO_HOME}/_installInfo/businessevents-decisionmanager_5.1.0_prodInfo.xml to a temporary    folder under {TIBCO_HOME}/_installInfo and then uninstall the selected products. Copy the file back to the original location after  the uninstallation completes.

On AIX platform, the operating system sometimes locks some of the shared libraries and does not release the locks even after the related processes are shutdown. Consequently, the UniversalInstaller fails to update a shared library that is locked by the operating system.
In such cases, perform the following:
a. Log out of the current session.
b. Log in as the root user and run the command:
      slibclean
c. Log in with the same user credentials as in Step (a) and re-install.
