Running Studio in the debugger gives the following errors:

1). Error loading as-common dynamic loadable library. Check that your PATH (or LD_LIBRARY_PATH) environment variables are setup correctly and that you have the appropriate architecture installed and

2). Caused by: com.tibco.as.space.RuntimeASException: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /opt/tibco/be/5.0/hotfix/lib/ext/libas-common.so: /opt/tibco/be/5.0/hotfix/lib/ext/libas-common.so: undefined symbol: _ZN4Gate4TYPEE

Cause:

BE 5.0.1 uses AS (TIBCO BusinessEvents DataGrid) 1.1 and can not use AS 2.0.  A set of the environment showed that AS 2.0 was on both the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Resolution:
=========
Remove AS 2.0 from the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environmental settings.

TIBCO BusinessEvents (BE) Studio gives a runtime error of java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError with libas-common.so for "undefined symbol: _ZN4Gate4TYPEE".
