Description:

While installing ActiveMatrix Service Grid 3.2.0, when a path is provided to the downloaded hibernate assembly, it gives an error "Location Specified is not a valid directory. Please choose a valid directory."


Resolution:

There are 2 ways to resolve this-

Solution 1
------------

Please provide the path of the directory where the assembly "assembly_tibco_com_tibco_tpcl_org_hibernate_feature_3.2.400.001.zip" is downloaded (e.g. "C:\installers") instead of providing the full path like "C:\installers\assembly_tibco_com_tibco_tpcl_org_hibernate_feature_3.2.400.001.zip".


Solution 2.
------------

Copy the downloaded hibernate assembly "assembly_tibco_com_tibco_tpcl_org_hibernate_feature_3.2.400.001.zip" to the assemblies directory of the unzipped TIB_amsg3x_3.2.0_win_XX.zip file and then start the TIBCOUniversalInstaller-XX.exe.  In this case, installer will automatically pick the hibernate assembly and will skip this step of providing path for it.

Installer TIBCOUniversalInstaller-XX.exe give an error "Location Specified is not a valid directory" while providing path to hibernate assembly during installation.
