Please note that TRA 5.10.x supports JRE 1.8. Our ability to support TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.1.1  with TRA 5.10.X may be limited if the  LDAP does not currently support JRE 1.8. Issues due to JRE 1.8 may need to be investigated with a TRA version that supports a JRE version supported by the LDAP

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.8.x
[ADDED 12-July-2013]

TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.1.1 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for LDAP.  Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.1.1 now supports JRE 1.7

Limitations and Restrictions:
For HP-UX Itanium, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.

For the remaining support platforms, TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for LDAP 6.1.1 supports 32-bit and 64-bit TRA executables..

Configuration Changes:
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

In order to run the adapter with the 64-bit TRA package (which uses the 64-bit JVM), a workaround must be implemented. For workaround details, see SOL1-C9RZZX: How to run adapters developed using TIBCO Adapter (R) SDK(Java) with 64-bit TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.x and 5.8.x

Limitations and Restrictions:
Both 32-bit and 64-bit BusinessWorks executables are supported. If BusinessWorks and TIBCO Adapters will be installed on the same machine, the bitness of both products may need to be the same. Please check the adapter's product documentation and LBNs for any limitations regarding bitness Support.
