Introduction
TIBCO is pleased to advise customers that TIBCO iProcess Suite is now available on a number of additional platforms and versions of TIBCO infrastructure products.

In some cases some product components are already supported on some of these platforms and TIBCO infrastructure products and hence are not listed in some of these sections below. Please use this list in conjunction with the most recent release notes for the product component for a comprehensive set of platforms supported. If in doubt please contact TIBCO Support via the TIBCO Support Web https://support.tibco.com.

The product components that have additional platform support are:

Operating Systems

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
The following product versions and above are supported on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2:
•    TIBCO iProcess Workspace Lite 1.2.0
•    TIBCO iProcess Objects (COM) 10.2.1
•    TIBCO iProcess Client (ASP) 9.2.0

Microsoft Windows Server 2012

† Installation cannot be achieved using a Java 7 environment on this platform. However, if installation is performed using Java 6 then the product component can be run in a Java 7 environment. For the iProcess Web Services Client Plug-in Java 5 should be used for the installation.

‡ EAI Java cannot be registered when using Java 7 in an Oracle 11g R2 environment.

Products have been successfully tested on Standard, Essentials and Datacenter editions. However, iProcess Engine reports an error when installed on Windows Server 2012 Essentials Edition but runs successfully.

IBM AIX 7.1 (64 Bit)
The following product versions and above are supported on AIX 7.1:
•    TIBCO iProcess Web Services Server Plug-in 11.3.0
•    TIBCO iProcess Objects (Java) 10.4.0

Please note that other components in the iProcess Suite were already supported on AIX 7.1. For other components in the iProcess Suite please refer to LBNs, readmes and installation guides for details.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 (32 and 64 Bit)
The following product versions and above are supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 and above (32 and 64 Bit):

Databases

SQL Server 2012
The following products are supported with SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012:
•    TIBCO iProcess Engine (SQL) 11.3.1
•    TIBCO iProcess Technology Plug-ins 11.3.1†
•    TIBCO iProcess Web Services Server Plug-in 11.3.0†

† Installation cannot be achieved using a Java 7 environment on this platform. However, if installation is performed using Java 6 then the product component can be run in a Java 7 environment.

Please note that TIBCO iProcess Engine 11.3.1 HF07 (please refer to LBN1-E93WUB for details) is required to enable operations that use the SSOLite interfaces to operate. This includes operations performed by iProcess Technology Plug-ins and iProcess Web Services Plug-ins.

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7
The following products are now supported running in a Java 7 environment. At the time of publishing this article Java Runtime Environment 7 is not bundled with any iProcess product components. In some cases cannot be installed with Java 7 and must be installed using an older version of Java such as 5 or 6. In such cases the product components for which an exception occurs are indicated with † or ‡.
