If customer has  EDI guidelines configured in the Operation Editor/Business Agreement, the exported configuration csx file from TIBCO BusinessConnect™ 5.3.3 system is much larger than the one exported from previous versions of the TIBCO BusinessConnect™ system. Consequently, it would take more time and resources to do the export.

There are changes in the TIBCO BusinessConnect™ 5.3.3 compared to TIBCO BusinessConnect™ 5.2.1.  The BC 5.3.3 restructured the internal file structures such that more information is included in the exported file that previous versions contained.

Environment:

TIBCO BusinessConnect™ 5.3.3 or above

Resolution:

Workaround 1). Install the 64-bit BC on a 64-bit OS, then you can set more JVM heap size for the BC engine or bcappmanage.

Workaround 2). Split the participants into several parts. For example, you can export the host and 100 participants every time which also includes the business agreement. So you need to export 7 times since you have over 600 participants and you can export operations separately.

System settings will need to be configured manually.
