When the same FTP URL is used with multiple trading partners for inbound EDI transactions, there is a chance that files will be polled multiples times and cause duplicates transactions to be processed.

BusinessConnect EDI Protocol 5.x and 6.X versions

Resolution:
===========
Use EDI-Gateway. Follow these steps.

1). Enable EDI-Gateway Protocol to the host.

2). Add Trading partner like "mygateway" and enable EDI-Gateway Protocol.

3). Add BusinessAgreement between host and mygateway trading partner and enable EDI-Gateway Protocol. Use FTP url for inbound transport.

4). For other Business Agreements who are using the same FTP URL, you need to uncheck FTP for inbound transport.

This will make sure that Gateway will pick up the files from FTP. The EDI Gateway will use the qualifier IDs to route inbound EDI transactions to the respective trading partner Business agreement for further processing.
