TIBCO Adapters that are not bundled with universal installer will have a problem when installing with TRA 5.8.0 and RV 8.4.0 on Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms. For example,  install RV 8.4, install TRA 5.8.0 and then install the adapter. The adapter installation will raise an error saying that RV is not installed.

Symptoms
=========
The adapter installation raises an error indicating that RV is not installed.

Cause
========
The RV 8.4.0 installation entries can not be recorded in the VPD file that resulted in the failure of adapter installation while checking the dependency RV installation version.


Resolution:
=========
There are two resolutions for each variation of this problem.

1). Perform the following steps to install adapters with 32-bit RV 8.4.0 and 32-bit TRA 5.8.0:

   a). Extract RV installer zip into a folder.
   b). Extract TRA installer zip into the SAME folder as in step 1 – Overwrite for the existed files.
    c). Run the installer.

2). Perform the following steps to install adapters with 64-bit RV 8.4.0 and 64-bit TRA 5.8.0:

    a). Extract RV installer zip into a folder.
    b). Extract TRA installer zip into the SAME folder as in step 1 – Overwrite for the existed files.
    c). Replace the following lines in the featureconfig file, e.g. product_TRA_5.8.0_FeatureConfig_data_linux26gl23_x86_64.xml, which comes with the installer before the installation begins:

Installation error occurs when installing TIBCO Runtime Agent (TM) (TRA) 5.8.0 and TIBCO Rendezvous (R)(RV) 8.4.0 with TIBCO Adapters that are not bundled with universal installer.
