Description: You may notice the queue "AMX_MGMT.SystemEnvironment.com.tibco.ampd.ogp.de.GovernanceAgentListenerPT" in TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) has pending messages and no listener is attached to the queue. Symptoms: Messages are getting backed up on the queue 'AMX_MGMT.SystemEnvironment.com.tibco.ampd.ogp.de.GovernanceAgentListenerPT'. Cause: This happens because the Governance agent posts a message on the management binding for TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director("PD") to consume, but at this time it does not know if PD is configured or not. Defect PER-1903 was reported.
Issue/Introduction
Messages are backed up on the queue 'AMX_MGMT.SystemEnvironment.com.tibco.ampd.ogp.de.GovernanceAgentListenerPT'.
Resolution
The only events which are sending to this queue are start and stop events when the nodes are started and stopped. The message in the queue will be consumed only when PD is installed. For an environment where no PD is installed, users should be able to purge the queue.
