The TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Updater Tool for Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is a command-line utility for updating existing TIBCO ActiveMatrix® based installations to use JRE 1.7.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM 1.3.0, 1.3.1, 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 on any supported platform.

Resolution:
=========
The TIBCO ActiveMatrix Updater Tool for Java Runtime Environment (JRE) has been certified for use with all versions of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM that are based on the TIBCO ActiveMatrix platform version 3.1.5 which includes the following ActiveMatrix BPM releases: 1.3.0, 1.3.1, 2.0.0 and 2.1.0. These versions of ActiveMatrix BPM can use this tool to upgrade from JRE 1.6 to JRE 1.7.

This tool does not include a version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). The JRE should be installed and available prior to the upgrade.

The tool can be downloaded from http://download.tibco.com in the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM 2.1.0 section, and as stated above can be used with versions of ActiveMatrix BPM between 1.3.0 and 2.1.0 inclusive.

Please note that users of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM who upgrade their Java installation to JRE 1.7 will find that certificates from the keystores supplied with TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM will no longer be accepted for making encrypted web service calls. Please refer to LBN1-EJ26PF (available from https://support.tibco.com) for details of the resolution to this issue.
