Each adapter includes a standard and custom microagent. The microagents provide:
• Business level statistics.
• Queries that return information about the state of the adapter.
• Updates of the adapter run-time parameters.
If you want to know what details the File adapter will return for a particular Microagent Method, follow these steps:
1). Start TIBCO Hawk and TIBCO Hawk Display.
2). In the TIBCO Hawk Display, right-click on the agent icon and select Get Microagents.
3). The Microagents, Methods and Arguments dialog displays. The panel on the upper left lists microagents you can access on the current agent.
4). Click a microagent name for your Adapter instance to display a list of associated methods.
5). Click a particular method for which you want to get the details. This will display the text descriptions (method Type, Argument, Returns) in the panels below.
