Can we manually change the values in the output deployment configuration XML file that gets created when we run the bcappmanage -exportDeployConfig command to export a BusinessConnect deployment?

Symptoms:

Even if the values are changed in the output deployment configuration XML file and imported using bcappmanage -importDeployConfig command, the values are not reflected in the BusinessConnect application in the admin domain.
NOTE :By default, the output deployment configuration XML file is set as BC-<domain>-deploy-config.xml and resides in the directory BC_HOME/tools/bcappmanage/domain/<domain>, if not specified otherwise.
Resolution:

Modification of the output deployment configuration XML file manually is not supported. Make sure to make the changes in the source deployment prior to doing the export.
