Only the major releases for the supported operating system in the EMS readme file are mentioned. However, we officially support all releases and the corresponding service packs as the major release stated in the readme file unless an LBN is issued.
Example:
In the EMS 7.0 readme file the following is listed:
Microsoft Windows Server
2003, 2008 32-bit on x86
2003, 2008 64-bit on x86-64
We do not mention Windows server 2008 R2, however both Windows server 2008 R2 and Windows server 2008 R2 SP1 are supported.
