Missing server settings tab from the admin GUI for TIBCO BusinessEvents applications.

Environment:

TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.1.1
TIBCO Administrator 5.7.0,5.7.1.
TIBCo Runtime Agent 5.7.x.
All Operating Systems

Symptoms:
========
In TIBCO Administrator GUI -- &gtApplication Management  -- > &ltBE Application > --- > Click on the Service Instance, Server Setting Tab is missing .


Reason:
=========
This issue happens if your BusinessEvents plugin is corrupted or not uploaded correctly in cases where you have installed newer versions of BusinessEvents software.


Resolution:
=========
1). First check the plugins  in TIBCO Administrator  GUI -- > Application Management  -- > All Services Instances ---- > &ltMachineName>-TIBCO Administrator service --- &gtPlugIns. Check for BusinessEvents plugins(be-admin)  and it’s corresponding versions.

2). Delete TIBCO BusinessEvents plugins( be-admin.jar) file for TIBCO  BusinessEvents 5.1.1 and previous TIBCO  BusinessEvents plugins from TIBCO Administrator  GUI -- > Application Management  -- > All Services Instances ---- > &ltMachineName>-TIBCO Administrator service --- &gtPlugIns --- &gtSelect TIBCO  BusinessEvents plugins and Delete.

3). Upload be-admin.jar from TIBCO Administrator  GUI -- > Application Management  -- > All Services Instances ---- > &ltMachineName>-TIBCO Administrator service --- &gtPlugIns --- &gtSelect Add , plugin is found under  &lttibco-home>/be/5.1/admin-plugins
folder.

4). Restart Administrator and HawkAgent.

5). Should be able to see missing server settings tab from the TIBCO Administrator  GUI for TIBCO  BusinessEvents applications.

6). In some cases TIBCO BusinessEvents applications need to be redeployed.
