Description:
The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0 since its general availability.  Please refer to the attached amended readme the details regarding these additions.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks (TM) 5.11.x
TIBCO Runtime Agent™ 5.8.x

Any limitations and restrictions and known issues are detailed below.

Please note that any new features or functionality available with these additional environments are not necessarily supported by TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0.  Please contact Support if there are any questions regarding whether a certain feature is supported by TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0.

TIBCO Runtime Agent™ 5.8.x
[ADDED 18-Jul-2013]

TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for SWIFT.  Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0 now supports JRE 1.7.

Limitations and Restrictions:

For HP Itanium, TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0 supports 64-bit TRA executable.

For all other platforms, TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for SWIFT 5.10.0 supports 32-bit and 64-bit TRA executables.

Configuration Changes:
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

In order to run the adapter with the 64-bit TRA package (which uses the 64-bit JVM), a workaround must be implemented. For workaround details, see SOL1-C9RZZX: How to run adapters developed using TIBCO Adapter (R) SDK (Java) with 64-bit TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.x and 5.8.x

Limitations and Restrictions:

Both 32-bit and 64-bit BusinessWorks executables are supported. If BusinessWorks and TIBCO Adapters will be installed on the same machine, the bitness of both products may need to be the same. Please check the adapter's product documentation and LBNs for any limitations regarding bitness Support.
