Resolution:
TIBCO  ActiveMatrix Adapter for Tuxedo 5.6.0 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 5.6.0.  Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 5.6.0 now supports JRE 1.7.

Limitations and Restrictions:

For HP-UX Itanium, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.
For the remaining Unix platforms and all Windows platforms, TIBCO  ActiveMatrix Adapter for Tuxedo 5.6.0 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 32-bit and 64-bit Platforms. On 32-bit Unix and Windows platforms, the 32-bit TRA executable should be used. On 64-bit Unix Platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used. On 64-bit Windows platforms, it is recommended that the 32-bit TRA executable be used unless the 32-bit adapter needs to run on the same Windows machine with the 64-bit TRA executable and other 64-bit TIBCO applications.

In order to use product version with the 64-bit TRA executable, please follow the configuration steps below:

Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.
