TIBCO Integration Manager, by default, uses ISO-8859-1 encoding for the project. If the default encoding needs to be changed, then do the following:
1). Open your project (dat file) in TIBCO RepoManager, which is located at \tibco\tra\5.x\bin.
2). Select the encoding property on right side panel for the instance, then click the Edit button on menu.
3). Change the value for the encoding in the Edit instance dialog box and close the RepoManager.
