Description:
TIBCO has tested the following product components in the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 environments with TIBCO Process Engine using either SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2 as its data repository:

•         TIBCO Process Engine (SQL) 9.0.1.10
           -   Previously known as Staffware Process Engine
•         TIBCO Process Objects Server 9.0.2.1
           -   Previously known as Staffware Process Objects Server
•         TIBCO Process Client (Windows) 9.0.1.0
           -   Previously known as Staffware Process Client for Windows
•         TIBCO Process Modeler 9.0.1.0
           -   Previously known as Staffware Process Definer
•         TIBCO iProcess Objects (COM) 10.2.1.0
           -   Previously known as Staffware Process Objects (COM)

Testing was successful and TIBCO will support the above products in the environments listed above with the following conditions applying:

1)      There is no native support for SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008
          R2 in TIBCO Process Engine (SQL) 9.0 therefore the database
          must be configured to run in SQL Server 2000 compatibility mode
          (Mode 80).

2)      Connection between TIBCO iProcess Objects (COM) and TIBCO
          Process Objects Server must use a fixed TCP port rather than
          using UDP to discover available servers.

3)      Importing users from an LDAP based directory service was not
          validated for use on the above environments.
