Information about  the release of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for Websphere MQ  7.x.  

TIBCO Adapter for Websphere MQ has been renamed to TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for Websphere MQ , to reflect its new Plug-in architecture and technology Upgrade.

On the TIBCO download site, existing customers who already have TIBCO Adapter for Websphere MQ can find releases of that Adapter, in addition to this new release of the Plug-in, listed under the top-level product heading TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for Websphere MQ .

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for Websphere MQ  is a technology upgrade release that offers enhanced functionality compared to earlier releases of the Websphere MQ Adapter, including:

?    Making use of an inherent BW Transaction Manager to co-ordinate transactions between various applications and other plug-ins
?    Supporting Multi-Instance Queue Managers with the ability to fully utilize fault tolerance and failover of Queue managers
?    TLS secured connection support to all queue managers
?    Connection resource that contains all parameters relevant to establishing a connection including automatic re-connectivity, re-delivery and caching for performance
?    Guaranteed bi-directional message cross-over between MQ and JMS (EMS)
?    Close in-process payload conversions using the Plug-in for Data Conversion between web-services and other applications when needed.
