Description
==========
In a multiengine BC environment, inbound EDI documents do not get processed and the following error occurs:

"Failed to pre-process or parse incoming EDI document. Malformed EDI document detected. Details: /&ltBC shared directory>/&ltfilename>(No such file or directory)".

Environment
===========
TIBCO BusinessConnect 5.X.X and 6.X.X

Cause
===========
In a multiengine environment, inbound payloads are placed in the BC shared directory  which all engines should be able to access.  BC then sends an internal message over an RVDQ channel to tell the engines that there is a file to process. This error occurs when the BC engine tries to process the payload which is not available in the shared directory because of incorrect configuration.

Resolution
==========
Make sure that the directory configured in the BC deployment under "shared directory" is accessible by all engines.  If not, reconfigure it to use a shared directory, redeploy, and restart the engines.
