With EDI 5.X, the EDI-X12 and EDI-EDIFACT transaction schemas (.xsd) contain an element called Internal-Properties which provides information about inbound transactions and can be used to override outbound transaction parameters. This element no longer exists in EDI 6.X Foresight schemas. Is there a workaround for this issue?
Cause

The Internal-Properties element was used to pass and receive information directly to the translation engine in EDI 5.X. The EDI 6.X Foresight components no longer use these fields.

The Internal-Properties functionality can now be implement directly in the Foresight transaction schema directly. See the individual transaction schemas for details.
