Description:
When a request is sent to a HTTPS URL, SSL is enabled on Apache. An incomplete / malformed request is forwarded to ASG.


Symptoms:
In the same setup, a request is sent to the HTTP URL and is processed successfully.
Cause:
This is an issue with OpenSSL 1.0.1d.

Issue/Introduction

Apache sends a mal-formed SOAP Message to the TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Service Gateway(ASG) when SSL is enabled on HTTPS.

Resolution

To resolve, use a supported Apache version which bundles a different OpenSSL version. This issue is not observed with either OpenSSL 1.0.1c or 1.0.1e.
