When you specify -999 in the private process EDI payload (xml), BC engine recognizes this value and replaces it with the actual value at runtime.
What are all the variables/elements that are supported macros (-999) in private process outbound payload (XML)?


Environment:

TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI Protocol 6.x.x version


Symptoms:
=========
The private process can send -999 as a macro for few variables/elements in outbound EDI payload (XML) and I can see the same -999 value is going out in outbound EDI document.


Cause:
======
The macros i.e. -999 value is supported by few variables/elements only.


Resolution:
===========
The elements ST_02 and SE_02 in X12, UNH_01 and UNT_02 in Edifact elements will only be replaced by BCEDI at runtime.
