Release notes for EMS 7.0.0 state the following regarding Hawk:

TIBCO Hawk Package
The com.tibco.tibjms.admin.hawk package is no longer included with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service. In order to use TIBCO Hawk to monitor TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, a minimum of TIBCO Hawk version 4.9 is required. As of Hawk 4.9, the com.tibco.tibjms.admin.hawk package is built into the installation.

This implies Hawk 4.9.0 is essential in order to upgrade to EMS 7.0. Though the com.tibco.tibjms.admin.hawk package won't be included within the new EMS release. If the client has already loaded the necessary classes required from the previous EMS version to get his Hawk functionality  working then it is safe to continue using Hawk 4.8.1 to monitor EMS 7.0

Will existing Hawk Agent/Display from Hawk 4.8.1 continue to work with newly installed EMS 7.0.0?
