Cause:
Unable to connect to BE process using Jconsole PID command.
Symptoms:
Jconsole was not able to connect to BE process locally using command jconsole PID, it was failing with exception “Connection failed” However, jconsole <IP-address>:<port> was working.
Cause:
TIBCO BusinessEvents was running 64-bit and JDK was 32-bit.
Issue/Introduction
Unable to connect to BE process using Jconsole PID command.
Resolution
Use 64-bit JDK (jconsole) with 64-bit TIBCO BusinessEvents.
