Symptoms:
I have a machine running a number of EMS 8.0.0 instances. I want to monitor them using the Hawk display installed on a local machine using JMS as the transport. Was able to configure the hawkdisplay to use the EMS transport but do not see any hawkagent/microagent/ems objects. What should be configured on the EMS side and what on client side so as to be able to monitor EMS through Hawk?

Configuration for monitoring EMS 8.0 with Hawk 5.0 .
Resolution
Necessary configuration steps follow.
1). Uncomment the property -hma_plugin_dir <plugins_dir> in the file hawkagent.cfg .
2). Copy the file hawkemsadmin.hma from <hawk_home>/plugin/ems/hawkems to the <plugins_dir> .
3). Configure the file hawkemsadmin.hma to use the correct parameters to connect to the EMS server.
4). Add tibrvjms.jar, tibjmsadmin.jar, tibjms.jar, tibcrypt.jar and jms-2.0.jar within the <hawk_home>lib folder.
5). Configure the Hawk agent/microagent and hawkdisplay to use the same transport.
