Issue/Introduction

TIBCO BusinessWorks Collaborator (BWC) Repository Server Fails to start after a change in RV parameters.

Resolution

To identify specific XML tag issues in the config files, the following can done.

  1.  Launch command prompt (console) and go to the /domain// and launch the start-up cmd file created for the repo server. The console will display the SAX parser exception and indicate which XML tag (for example, Rvservice parameter defined in the icrepconfig.xml) failed to parse.
  2. You can try to open config files using a browser such as Internet Explorer (IE) to display the parsing error. This can help identify the issue that was caused by the bad XML tag or any typos.
After correcting the tags, the BWC Server or Repo Server should start.
