Description

Description:
Scenario:
- Shared Nothing
- Two inference agents (inf1 and inf2) are deployed in FT mode.

A rule based timer event is scheduled by the primary agent (inf1). When the primary agent (inf1) is brought down, the secondary agent (inf2) is activated. When the time is reached to trigger the timer event, the event is not triggered.

Issue/Introduction

While using Shared Nothing, a rule based timer event scheduled from a primary engine is not triggered from the secondary engine.

Resolution

Rule based timer events will not be recovered in Cache only mode. Fail-over of rule based timer events require cache plus memory cache mode. Shared Nothing persistence works in cache only mode. For Shared Nothing persistence, the workaround is to use the scheduler instead of rule based timer events.
