How to enable ActiveSpaces monitoring at runtime for an agent - required for BW-AS application.
Resolution
- Login to as-admin
- Execute command "show members" when the membername is not known.
- Enable monitoring using command:
- Execute on member '<BW_Member_Name>' monitor system true.
- The agent is now visible in the command output: "show system stats".
Note: This is currently the only option to enable monitoring for applications using the BW-AS plugin. For as-admin and as-agent, it is possible to enable monitoring on startup using the startup parameter "monitor_system true".
