Resolution:
The EMS distribution provides C, COBOL, Java and .NET APIs to communicate with the EMS server. Python APIs are not provided and there no plans to do so. Some customers have managed to implement Perl/PHP/Ruby/Python modules for both the EMS Client API and Admin API by themselves. It has been noted that using Jython (the Java port of the Python programming language) to call EMS Java APIs, has proven successful. Using Jython may be an acceptable alternative.
