Description
Description: DST is a practice of moving local time forward one hour in the spring and backwards in the autumn in much of Europe and North America. Customers may be concerned if their MDM servers are effected by this change.
Resolution
At a high level, this change will have very little impact on MDM since Daylight saving time (DST) and the changes associated with it are functions of the Operating Systems and JVMs that our software runs against. In MDM, the JVM is bundled with the Application Server. If a customer is concerned about this change then we would advise to make sure all operating systems and JVMs have been patched to the versions that are reported to address the changes made to DST. Ask the Application Server Vendor if there are any patches needed for the JVM.
