Description:
When we try to upload a certificate under the cert store through the Administrator, the following exception occurs: "java.security.cert.CertificateException: Error in certificate chain".
Symptoms:
Certificate import fails with the following exception in the administrator, "Credential Save failed. Error in examining the PKCS7 envelope: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Error in certificate chain".
Cause:
This is a defect in the TiBCrypt libraries included in the TRA versions 5.8.0 and 5.9.0 .

Issue/Introduction
Credential Save failed. Error in examining the PKCS7 envelope: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Error in certificate chain.
Resolution
If using J2SE as the security vendor, installing TRA 5.9.0 Hotfix 1 will resolve the issue. If TRA 5.8.0 is used, TRA 5.8.0 Hotfix 6 resolves the issue.
