Please note you will need to give all draft promoters and authorizers access to the specific map.

Please send out an authorization request:-

1.) Go to <Manage>, <Authorization> then select <Request...>.

2.) Select the scope of the request and the date it needs to be completed by then press the 'Next >' button.

3.) From release 7.0.2, define the reminder and escalation details i.e. an email will go out to users' Line Managers if they fail to complete the action.

4.) Confirm the authorization request by selecting the 'OK' button.

5.) Then to fully confirm the authorization please go to <File> then <Confirm All> and select 'Yes'.

The authorizers will then need to authorize the scope they have been asked to authorize e.g. the current process map. This can be done by:-

1.) Opening the specific map.

2.) Go to <Manage>, <Authorization> then select <Authorize Diagram...>.

3.) Please enter your password and any notes then click 'OK' to confirm.

You will be able to promote the map once the authorizers have authorized it. To do this, please follow these steps:-

1.) Open the specific map.

2.) Then go to <Manage>, <Authorization> and select <Promote Draft Copy...>.

3.) Enter your password and press 'OK'.

If an Information box comes up instead of the password box, press 'OK' and in the 'Promotion Results' window select the diagrams that state they are 'Promotion Ready' then go to <Override> and press <Promote Diagram(s)...>. Select 'OK' in the Warning message then enter your password and press 'OK' then select 'OK' in the Information box and close the window.

The process map should now be promoted.
