Issue/Introduction

Bullet point steps to setup a replicated AMX BPM environment.

Resolution

1). Install software using Primary profile on machine 1.
2). Use TCT to configure JDBC drivers on machine 1.
3). Use TCT to create the TIBCO Administrator server on machine 1.
4). Install software using Primary profile on machine 2.
5). Use TCT to configure JDBC drivers on machine 2.
6). Use TCT to replicate the TIBCO Administrator server on machine 2.
7). Use TCT to create the TIBCO Host Instance i.e. BPMHost on machine 1.
8).. Use TCT to create the ActiveMatrix BPM Server into BPMHost on machine 1.
9). Use TCT to create the TIBCO Host Instance i.e. BPMHostReplica on machine 2.
10). Use TCT to create the BPMNodeType i.e. BPMNodeReplica into BPMHostReplica on machine 2.

There is a JIRA WRM-7087 to enhance the structure of the installation guide. Regarding where the TCT "Node Type" wizard should be run, Chapter 16 of the docs has the following statement:

"This wizard can be run directly on the remote machine (where the node is to be configured), or on the primary node. Where it can, TIBCO Configuration Tool validates data entered in this wizard before performing the actual configuration, and reports any errors that it detects. "

TIBCO recommends that you run this wizard on the remote machine, as the TIBCO Configuration Tool is able to perform more extensive validation.
